Vivantes International Medicine, as the International Office of the Vivantes Hospital Group, offers services for all international patient requirements and/or those paying costs. Our multilingual and culturally trained staff - we speak English, Arabic, Russian and French, as well as German - will act as your first point of contact for all questions concerning medical treatment at Vivantes. Our staff will support patients with medical organisation and administrative duties. Our patient supporter workers will accompany patients throughout their entire treatment, translation into their native tongues, and will provide advice directly on location in the hospitals.
Our main task is your wellbeing and comfort. Our services starts with finding the best suitable expert for your individual needs. Based on your medical history and diagnosis our Case Managers will select an expert and present your case. Based on the initial finding and our experts recommendation we will offer you a treatment plan as well as a cost estimate. In addition to that our team will answer all your questions and assist you in organising your stay with Vivantes. We are also your direct contact for organising the transfer from the airport to the hospital, and advise you about booking a hotel or booking an accommodation for your family.
We want you to feel safe. Upon arrival our team will welcome you to Berlin and transfer you to one of our nine hospitals. During the admission, medical education and treatment we will be on your side, making sure you have everything you need.
Besides our wide range of services, one of our distinguishing features is a transparent pricing system. Our cost estimations and invoices are put together based on the German DRG catalogue. Naturally, we only bill for services which have actually been rendered to you.

Send us a description of your medical problem and/or the desired service and your personal information. Please use our contact form.
- Our Answer
Once we have received you inquiry one of our Case Mangers will contact you. Based on the information provided, we will put together a treatment suggestion and an estimate of costs within 48 hours (working days).
- Your Payment
If you accept our offer we ask you to pay the amount stated in the cost estimate in advance. Once we have received your payment we start organising you treatment. Part of the process is finding a suitable date for your admission as well as supporting you with e.g. obtaining your visa.
- Your Arrival
Upon arrival in Berlin we will welcome you and your relatives at the airport. Our patient advisor team will shuttle you to the hospital and translate for you during your stay.
- Your Admission
Once you have arrived at the designated hospital our team will guide you through the admission process, introduce you to your doctor. The rest is up to us and you can focus on yourself.
Well-being means becoming healthier quickly. For this purpose, Vivantes offers special comforts, similar to those at a hotel, as part of the entire service at all sites.
Our offer involves accommodation in special comfort wards with patient rooms with a comfortable atmosphere and an elegant interior. You'll receive a wide range of service, optional consultant treatment and support from specially trained carers. Additional service staff will be happy to accommodate your individual and personal wishes. Your patient support worker will also accompany you during your entire stay.
At the wards, you'll find your own reception, for example, a generous lounge and a restaurant. You can enjoy your meals in a cosy atmosphere in the restaurant. We are also happy to serve you your meals in your room if you prefer. Your room has a state-of-the-art design with high-quality equipment, including air conditioning, free WLAN, international TV programmes, a safe, a minibar etc. The rooms each have an en suite bathroom with a shower / toilet.
