The interdisciplinary team has further improved oncological treatment for this award in order to meet the high professional requirements for treatment: Psycho-oncological care is now extended to all patients, oncological nursing has been strengthened and differentiated nutritional therapy for cancer patients has been introduced.
The Visceral Oncology Center of Vivantes Neukölln Hospital is headed by the chief physicians Prof. de Maike Wit (Oncology), Prof. Dr. Ulrich Böcker (Gastroenterology) and Dr. Mario Müller (Surgery).
Chief Physician PD Dr. Mario Müller: "We are very proud that under the difficult conditions of the pandemic with strict hygiene requirements we were able to show that our good cooperation here at the Neukölln Hospital provides great services for our oncological patients."
