Vivantes Hospital Spandau

The Vivantes Hospital Spandau comprises 9 medical departments and 505 beds. Approx. 39,000 patients are being annually treated, i.e. around 21,000 outpatients and around 18,000 inpatients. 151 physicians and 388 members of nursing staff take care of the patients. All in all 725 members of staff are working at the Hospital. The Vivantes Hospital Spandau is an academic teaching hospital. The Hospital includes among other things a Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery, the Tumor Center North, a Center for Heavy Skull and Brain Injuries, a Center for Vascular Surgery, a Center for Orthopedics and an Institute for Tobacco Addiction and Smoking Prevention.

Furthermore on the premisis of the Vivantes Hospital Spandau a Comfort Hospital has been opened in spring 2011.
