Vivantes Hospital Hellersdorf

The Vivantes Hospital Hellersdorf comprises 5 medical departments and 374 beds. Approx. 31,000 patients are being annually treated, i.e. around 17,000 outpatients and around 14,000 inpatients. 1,150 babies are annually born at the maternity clinic of the Hospital Hellersdorf. 100 physicians and 243 members of nursing staff take care of the patients. All in all 497 members of staff are working at the Hospital. The Vivantes Hospital Hellersdorf is an academic teaching hospital of the Charité – University Medicine Berlin. The Hospital includes among other things a Center for Diabetes mellitus type 1 and type 2, a Center for Gerontopsychiatry, a Center for Minimally Invasive Surgery and the Clinic for Psychiatry, Psychotherapy and Psychosomatics.
